A little help with the festive details

• Shape the outline: create a recognizable Christmas silhouette without shaping every detail by hand.
• Imprint the pattern: use the mold's design to add detail to your pastry.
• Press the edges: bring the pastry layers together around a modest amount of filling.

The mold helps with shaping and patterning. Icing, colored details and other finishing decorations shown in serving inspiration can be added separately.

Prepare, fill, press and bake

1. Prepare the pastry. Roll your dough evenly and cut pieces to suit your selected design.
2. Add your filling. Position the pastry in the mold, add a modest amount of filling and cover with another pastry layer.
3. Press and release. Close or press the mold to imprint the pattern and bring the edges together. Gently release the shaped pastry.
4. Bake the pastry. Transfer it to suitable bakeware and follow your recipe's baking instructions. Remove the mold before baking.

Does one single-design item include all 16 molds?

No. Each single-design item includes one selected mold. The complete set is a separate product containing one mold of each design.

Do I need advanced decorating skills?

The mold assists with the outline, pattern and pressed edges. Start with a simple filling and finish as simply or as elaborately as you like.

Do I bake the pastry inside the mold?

Use the mold for shaping, then release the pastry and bake it on suitable bakeware according to your recipe.
